A citation!
Ok, I'll have to go pick this up, but my first comment based on what
you've given us is that the fact that testosterone increases prior to
breast cancer does not necessarily mean that high testosterone *causes*
breast cancer. It may, in fact, be merely a symptom of a change in the
hormonal millieu prior to cancer. Endocrinology is an extremely complex
science and an increase in one hormone may be related to an event, but
without having any direct effect upon it. But again, I've not read the
citation. Testosterone is a potent hormone and the idea that it may be
directly linked to breast cancer is certainly not out of the question.
