In response to Elizabeth Vance's assertion that such comments should be
sent on the back channels. I disagree.
I being a lurker on several lists have begun to understand the
netiquette(sp?) and such postings sent every once in a while serves to
assist in my and I would suspect other's enculturation into the 'net'.
I must state that I have not been on long enough to have been privy to
many of the postings that have been sent so I can not say that there have
not been an exorberant(sp) amount of this kind of postings but I would
agree that any over a few would tend to get monotonous and wished into
the back channel... I guess that what I am saying is that as adults we
can make the decision if a topic is being shot and trampled. or Needs to
be discussed.
