its 1995 - 1996 Workshop Series
Skills training and professional development opportunities
specially designed to meet the information and resource needs of
small, emerging, culturally specific and rural museums. All
workshops take place at the Smithsonian Institution in
Washington, DC.
October 30 - November 3, 1995: INTRODUCTION TO INTERPRETATION IN
MUSEUMS
Learn methods for using storytelling, dramatizations, historical
reenactments, living history and other performing arts genres to
educate and entertain your visitors.

January 22 - 26, 1996: INTRODUCTION TO MUSEUM MANAGEMENT
Develop a strategic plan and implementation process that responds
to the realities of small community museums of the 1990s.
