This request was recently posted on Ethno-L. I'm forwarding it to Anthro-L
on the basis of the assumption that some of us have suggestions.

I'm looking for books to use in an undergraduate course
called Communication and Cultural Difference. The level of the
book should be appropriate for sophomores. The perspective should
be one with which I could easily live -- it would be great if the
author/editor approached culture as sets of practices (or as
praxis) and recognized the exitence of diversity _within_ national
borders and ethnic groups. Thanks in advance for your
suggestions.
