I've had no (other) reply, either! I'm sure a lot of people are turned
off by the previous dreary argument. But I'm also depressed by the extent
to which alleged anthropologists are unaware of Boas's research and
writing AND all other scholars self-doomed to reinventing the wheel each
generation (or, even worse, destroying it!).
