This isn't as straightforward as it at first seems. The period picked
represents the transition from hunting and gathering to agriculture
for only specific areas of the world (Mesopotamia, e.g.), so you'll
have to settle on a particular people and region, for starters.
even among the agriculturalists and H-G's, food sources varied
regionally.

Pick a place, reasonably narrowly defined, and you can perhaps answer
this question by examining the archaeological record.
