Answering my own question, I found this in sci.archaeology, so I thought
I'd send it over here where it belongs. Anybody know any more?

` Yep,
` part of a hominid legbone from Boxgrove, Sussex, a palaeolithic site
` in a gravel quarry excavated by Mark Rogers (probably where the nickname came
` from, but I haven't heard it before) of the Institute of Archaeology,
` University College, London. The newspaper account I read said it was closely
` related to Homo Hiedelburgis, as I've never heard ogf Heidelburgis, I suspect
` a case of journalistic confusion. Sorry I don't know anymore, Palaeoloithic
` archaeology ain't my thing.
`
` Mark Adams,
` Liverpool,
` UK.
`
` PS various females I know keep asking if I know of anyother 6ft, hairy,
` muscular, men; preferably not fossilised. ;-)
