In a previous article, (John D. Brennan IV) says:

>I had heard that the "Black Irish" of the west coast of Ireland may
>have received these dominant genes from a lost Spanish ship and its
>sailors from the Spanish armada's defeat in England. Since Spain was a
>moorish state for a while, perhaps that's where the Libyan-type genes
>came from.

This account of the origin of the "Black Irish" has been boincing around
soc.roots for some time, and is totally bogus.
