Hi there. I am a writing consultant at the University of Texas'
Undergraduate Writing Center. Most of the consultants working here are
products of the English department, yet we serve students from all over
the university. As a result of this dichotomy, we are making an effort to
locate information on specific style considerations and writing
conventions which are used in various disciplines. My personal project is
to locate this kind of info in the social sciences.

My request is simple. If you know of any good books or online resources
giving information on effective writing in anthropology specifically, or
social science in general, please write me privately and share that
information with me. Also, if you are an instructor and would like to
share common errors or personal hints on effective writing in your field,
I would welcome that input as well. Please be assured that any personal
contributions will be duly cited and credit ascribed.
