I'm sure climate change [CO2] had a lot to do with it too (I've
seen speculations even extending man's agriculture on [CO2]).
(some mumblings about C3 and C4 plants.... :-)
One aspect would be that we would expect to see "similar" changes
in different parts of the world (since CO2 in the atmos.
is a well mixed gas).
