I agree. I think that for the most part, bipedalism is by far
a much better mode of locomotion as well as freeing up the upper
limbs to do more complex tasks -- such as hunting and tool making.
So I think that evolutionary advantage, as opposed to external
selection, in the case of cats hunting man, would be a much better
explanation for the development of human bipedalism.
