I think some people have trouble with the term "convergent evolution" because it sounds like different
species are aiming towards a common goal and we know that evolution doesn't have an aim. Because
different species end up with similar characteristics we can not assume that they are ereading each
others mail.

I want to add that although Elaine Morgan is carrying the ball for AAT don't assume that she is
alone.There are a lot us out here who understand most of what she says and who aren't afraid of knew
ideas.
