Doesn't sound too good to me, as a graduate student and (thus) a member
of the potential pool of teaching fellows who count on large enrollments
and the opportunity to teach sections. As far as *I* am concerned, my
university can carry a high enrollment AND the professors can teach as
little as they want. More work for me and my cohort.
