A Philadelphia-area consulting firm is initiating a search for a senior-level
Archaeologist/Principal Investigator. The term of employment would begin
early 1997. Work is anticipated to include project and personnel management,
proposal preparation, client coordination, archaeological analysis and report
writing. The position requires an M.A. degree in anthropology or related
field and a minimum of two years supervisory experience in the Mid-Atlantic
or Northeast region. Prehistorian preferred. Documented archaeological
analysis and report writing skills are a must. Familiarity with Section 106
process is essential. Experience with computer database/GIS programs,
historic archaeology, and geomorphology are desirable skills. Salary is
commensurate with experience and the position offers an excellent benefits
