Call for papers

journal dedicated to exploring the interface between humans and their
environment. Subject areas to be covered in upcoming issues include, but
are not limited to, anthropology of conservation, historical ecology, the
evolution of human ecosystems, development anthropology, population
ecology, ethnobiology and comparative indigenous knowledge systems, ecology
of helath, diet, and nutrition, paleoecology, systems anthropology, primate
socioecology, and information ecology. Research papers and current book
reviews dealing with these and other relevant areas are welcomed.
Submission deadline for the spring issue is December 15, 1996.
Please submit papers with an abstract of no more than 150 words, following
the style guidelines of Current Anthropology, to:
