oops, sent that one out a bit hastily -

What I wanted to explore is the possibility that structure, induction and
deduction underpin postmodern thought even if they are not explicated and
even if they are discursively denied. Levi-Strauss, if he cared about the
subject, would probably argue that these notions are present in all human
thought whether labelled science or not.
