This a tall order!! The closest single text I can think of is Harrison et al.,
<<Human Biology>>, which you could supplement with readings in work phys and
a more up-to-date review article on human evolution (Pilbeam's otherwise
creditable section in HB being somewhat dated).

Good luck, and please do post a summary of the suggestions you receive to the
List. I'm sure there are others who would love to know if such a book (or
two) exist(s).
