"Otherness"

In their 1995 Annual Report, the School of American Research lists their
recent publications. One of these appears particularly relevant to the
recent thread on this list discussing the character of the "Other" and
"Otherness" To quote from the report: "_Other Intentions: Cultural
Contexts and the Attribution of Inner States_, edited by Lawrence Rosen
of Princeton, brings together scholars from philosophy, anthropology,
literature, and law to discuss the ways various cultures constitute
"otherness."
