I don't think Flinn was arguing for anything. What he did was forward a postin
g by someone else on another list to anthro-l.

Anyway, I remember the word "eugenics" being used, but in regard to arranged
marriages in some Jewish communities -- not as a proposal or suggestion.


It is *SO* easy to push some people's buttons with the mere mention of a word -
- a which point they go blind to the sense of a particular argument.
