Dear Anthro-L People:
In 1994 I helped to establish a small nonprofit organization entitled The
Siona-Secoya Foundation to support the community projects of the Siona and
Secoya peoples of western Amazonia. My main motivation was to try to do
something for the native communities that had contributed so much to my
work as an anthropologist. Knowing the culture of the Internet, I will not
try to solicit any contributions on Anthro-L. However, if you are interested
