I've had a flash of genius, thanks to your inspiration.
There can't be _that_ many ways of going bald. Which means that at some
point we should be able to analyze the genes responsible for hairloss,
and look for variations in the relavent DNA...
... and give a date to the ancestral Bald-As-Eden's-Apple Man.
