I am organizing the session on the Psychology of Social Movements
for next fall's Society for Psychological Anthropolgy meetings
in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We are looking for a couple of
presenters to round out the group. Anyone who might be interested
in doing a paper should email me. One topic we'll be focusing
on is the way individuals respond to the sense that they are
caught up in something much larger than themselves. It has to
do with the movement's role in contributing to a personal
history.
