Hello. I'm a student at Santa Clara University (SCU, Santa Clara, CA)
majoring in Anthropology. As part of my "senior project" I will be
evaluating and eventually recommending the acquition of computer software
for management of the archaeological collections of SCU.

As I begin this project, I have several questions, on which I hope you can
assist me:

1. What computer software does your site use for collection management?
What about for archaeological materials in particular?

2. What standards exist (or that you are aware of) for coding/cataloging
of archaeological materials?

3. What other sources of information would you suggest?

Please respond to me directly at the address below. Thank you, in advance,
for your assistance. Any further information would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

James P. Jones
