Hello,

Whether you are a scientist doing research on groundwater, an
anthropologist studying an indigenous tribe in a rainforest, or someone who
is concerned about the anti-environmental activities of corporations,
unsafe mining affects people and their families in your community or
communities close to you.

Thanksgiving Day 1995 was the debut date for mining-exchange, an
international email listserv dedicated to helping people who resist unsafe
mining in their neighborhoods share information about their strategies,
mining, workers in mining industries, and mining corporations.

=46orty days later on New Year's Day, issue #40 of EarthWINS Daily, the
mining-exchange newsletter, went out to subscribers around the world.

Included below are the tables of contents from the first 40 issues of
EarthWINS Daily. To request any of the articles send an email to
<amccombs@mail.wiscnet.net>

Subscription information for mining-exchange is included at the end of this
email.
