colonial ceremonies

I'm now thinking of writing a paper about colonial ceremonies in Hong
Kong. In other words, it should be about all ceremonies introduced by
British which are performed regularly. I would be so grateful if any one of
you could refer some previous works in this field (or other related
fields) to me, or, comments on which perspectives I should take.
