I lost the original query, so I am connecting with you, Lynn. He may
also consider, as a reader, Shelton and Coote's "Anthropology, Art &
Aesthetics" which is out in paper from Oxford. Layton is also now in a
paper edition, but is less "aesthetic" than C&S.
