Anthro. of Religion Interest Group call for papers

The Anthropology of Religion Interest Group invites abstracts for
one and one-half sessions proposed for the San Francisco meeting of the
American Anthropological Association (AAA), Nov. 20-24, pending the group's
recognition by the AAA.
The AAA meeting theme is "Anthropology: A Critical Retrospective."
Our sessions will not necessarily be limited to this, but papers should be
of broad and theoretical interest. Please send abstracts of 150 words or
