Re: Textbooks for Gender in Nonwestern Societies

Modesty often prevents one from publicizing one's own contributions but in
this case let me draw attention to the reader that Carolyn Sargent and I
edited titled "Gender in Cross-Cultural Perspective." It was published by
Prentice-hall in 1993. We are soon to engage in a second edition. It was
prepared specifically for classroom use, particularly with undergraduates.
