Perhaps I wasn't paying close enough attention, but I don't think the original
poster of the message about the Chiapas article was saying that English should
be the only language on this list. From what I could tell, he was only saying
that it might benefit a majority of the list members if the article was
translated, or if English versions were posted.
The responses to the original post have really disturbed me because I think
people are getting upset over nothing. It doesn't make much sense to print an
article that only a few can read, even if might be embarassing -- or
ethnocentric -- that not everyone can speak Spanish. At some point,
practicality must be supreme. Besides, that way more people will know
Spencer.
