Those of you interested in the links between ethnomethodology and pomo can
trace out the evolution of one into the other in regional ethnography in the
New Guinea Highlands.
Doubtless one could trace out logical connections, but the empirical
changes are there for those who care to investigate them. They make an
interesting case in the history of anthropological theory, taking us from
Radcliffe-Brown and Meyer Fortes to Marilyn Strathern and Roy Wagner.
