A senior writing her honors thesis (in econommics) on AIDS in Africa has come
to me looking for sources on women's status in Africa, which she argues is
crucial to understanding the transmission and prevention of the disease. I
found a few general articles for her, but am not familiar with any general work
on this topic. Any help you have would be gratefully received.
