** FACULTY APPOINTMENT IN SOCIOLOGY **
** PLEASE POST AND CIRCULATE **
POSITION: Full-time faculty appointment in Sociology at Bethel College,
St. Paul, Minnesota. Position open beginning Fall, 1995.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. or ABD in Sociology. Interest in and
ability to teach undergraduate students. A record of scholarly
achievement and successful teaching is desirable. Candidate
must evidence a strong commitment to the educational mission and
evangelical Christian orientation of the college. Women and
minorities are especially encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach seven courses per year, including Introduction to
Sociology, Race and Ethnic Relations, Social Inequality, and
Religion in Society. General faculty responsibilities include
student advising, departmental work and assignment on a faculty
committee.
