My concern is that many proponents of memetics seem to expect large
slabs of population genetics to transplant into a completely different
setting without any change. Steve Mizrach sometimes seems to be
jumping up and down yelling "Mimetics! Why isn't anyone working on
mimetics?", as if expecting someone to add 2 and 2 together and come
up with a simple, powerful theory that explains everything.

Danny Yee.

P.S. I fully expect Steve to be the first to start finding faults with
any theory that does purport to explain everything!
