Help! To anybody in British Columbia, is there any way of reaching Nootka
in January? I will be in Vancouver the first week of that month at the Society
for Historical Archaeology meetings and would really like to get out to Nootka
to see the Spanish fort site that was there. We know that Parks Canada did
some research there at some time in the past.
I am told that the ferry/cruise line does not land there or at Friendly
Cove unitl June, but that there is a water taxi. Any information would be
deeply appreciated. Thanks.
