I'm not sure who you are listening to. I know of no one who realizes the
facts of evolution that believe it has stopped, slowed down, or taken a day
off. Evolution _is_ open ended, but does not have to have any particular
end.
As to a superior class of people, there is that possibility, but I
personally feel it is unlikely. I sometimes think that intelligence is a
self limiting process. We as a species are about the only ones who shit in
our own nest. Clean us up or out and nature will clean up our mess in
50,000 years or so. Blink of her eye.

If you would spend a minimum amount of time learning about evolution you
would find that your whole argument shows a lack of knowledge about the
concept.
