++Hardcore believers in the bible, of which I am not one, take their scriptures as solid evidence. They view it as the infallable word of god. I know of some people who believe that the Judeo-Christian god set evolution into motion.
As an aside, there is no arguing matters of taste. It can be fun, but no one wins.
