I am seeking information on the anthropology program at the University
of Georgia or any other universities with similar programs . The focus
on ecological and environmental anthropology is especially appealing
to me. Is anyone on this newsgroup familiar with this area of study?

Also, how hard is it to get into a good graduate program and get an
assistantship or other financial help? I have a 3.9 GPA and got the
following on my GRE:
verbal - 600
quantitative - 740
analytical - 700

Are their any other tests I may need to take?
What about the fact that my undergrad degree will be in biology but
the UGA program is in anthropology? Do you think I'll need to do extra
work or maybe meet higher standards?

If you can answer any of this please email me or post to this group,
although i don't know if all the posted articles actually get to me.
Probably best to use email.
