That's your opinion.

Quite true. The problem comes in when people choose race as the basis of
their own identity or that of others. As has been reiterated on many
occasions, race is not an appropriate basis for classifying humans, at
least scientifically. It *is* appropriate _insofar as people define
themselves by race_, but scientifically, race is not an inherent facet of
human identity.

Mr. Whitaker, I'd like to ask you to do something that you may be
reluctant to do: Put your race aside for a moment. By this, I mean stop
thinking of your skin/hair/eye colour, racial/national descent, etc., as
an index to your identity. (I realize that you probably consider these
aspects central to your identity, but if you can, try to make the leap.)
Think about things like the language you speak, the food you like to eat,
etc.; what your hopes and dreams are, for you and for your children if you
have any. Ask yourself:

* How many non-whites speak the same language you do? (English is
already almost a universal language.)
* Could you live on the same food non-whites do?
* Isn't that what everyone wants, for themselves and their children?

No one wants to do away with the white race in any way. What *must* be
done away with, though, is white-skin privilege, or any kind of racial
privilege. It is evil, and it cannot be justified. You should check out a
journal called _Race Traitor_. I don't recall the URL, but they do have a
web site. Try Alta Vista. Even if you think I'm full of shit, you should
know about this.
