I think this is really a very valid point to make. I have found cause
to ask why such dumb questions get posted here in the past myself. In
the event most of our time is wasted trying to get a line on what
the person is thinking about at all, but less know how to answer.

It would help quite a lot to indicate what the words are referring
to, at least.
