What animal's intellegence is MUCH higher than that of man's?
and while the rest of these facts may be true, you are speaking of (writing of)
mostly sensory perceptions. There is so much more to the human mind than
the ability to see, hear, even remember...and this makes us special. There is
no need to talk of who is better. I cannot possible know completely how
another human's mind works, so how can humans know completely how another
species' mind works? And who decides what is better and what is worse? We
can only contemplate from a human's viewpoint, more specifically, one human's
viewpoint, thus we must always keep in mind our limitations.
Sorry to go off on a tangent.
About God, this concept obviously represents that force above us which we do
not understand, which we cannot understand because of the nature of who we
are. And because of the inherent simplicity of the world, we can only truly
speak of one incomprehensible force: God. If someone has two items, they
have one pair. If someone has five items, they have one quintet. If someone
wants to speak of many gods, they are really speaking of ONE set of gods...
this set represents God.
Many people really believe in the same things, they just cannot relate their
seperate beliefs, they are too busy arguing.
