I wasn't aware that big bands were a hypothesis. They may be rare, but
I saw Benny Carter's just a couple years ago. He's pushing 85 but he
still kicks butt. He played an alto solo that cut everyone in the band.

Anyway, this thread is getting boring. Maybe you should take it to
