I don't blame you for your misunderstanding Nicholls. Maybe
you can't understand the difference between explanation,
description, and definition and giving names to things.

it's a standard way to confuse.

I can't get into this in detail, because I fear that you'll
start digging up quotes from books on what science is and
how it's supposed to be done.
