is it true that homo sapiens have the largest neocortex of all species?

one thing i don't understand....

what are the features of the human brain, both anatomical and cellular,
that accounts for the superior intelligence?

the brain of the elephant is much larger than ours,

and the brain of dolphins is larger absolutely and comparable as % of
body weight. whales have the largest brains in the animal kingdom.

are whales geniuses?

i'd appreciate websites much the same.
