The message of Darwin is that an idea so powerful can be so "simple".
Sure, in an age of inglenook and Empire, the idea had to be padded out to
compete with German theological treatises, sold by weight, but the basic
the basic premise need occupy no more than a single screenful.
The message of the 'Net is that it has allowed the return of the
gifted amateur.
Put the two together and just think, the next stage in the evolution
of consciousness could be being typed out right now and may be no more than
the two words of a thread title.
