dem bones...dem bones

Hypothetically speaking, I have stumbled across an assortment of bones in
an area unfamiliar to me, in geological strata of unknown time period.
>From just the bones themselves, which appear to comprise at least one
complete skeleton, what are the "telltale signs" of

1. whether the fossil is hominid?
2. the age of the specimen?
3. the gender?
4. the probable height?
5. if it is omnivore or herbivore?

(I realize, that given my initial conditions, I ought not to be asking
these questions in the first place!)

Thanks for indulging me. Bill Stoltzfus
