Part of the controversy--perhaps MOST of it--is that Ruse now says he was too
black and white or categorical at the Ark. trial; that's the nature of a legal
argument, but creationists see his later efforts to be more subtle as an
admission that he lied under oath, or something! Or has converted....

Johnson's Web page may even have a copy of the Ruse paper (a transcript from a
tape)! Ruse has appeared on stage with Phil J a couple of times and thinks
well of him--but has not converted!

Also--NCSE sells symposium tapes, come to think of it cf, WWW.natcenscied.org
for info... I should have mentioned this in my first post! The session also
had Jon Marks, Laurie Godfrey, Genie Scott, H. Van Till, and others--including
audience questions.
