Can anyone tell me why people in living in Maisonettes tend to conduct
all their business on their balconies or in the yard (if living on the
ground floor). Their front doors always seem to be open and they are
oblivious to the fact that they are overheard by the local neighbourhood.
Their music tends to be loud, as do their voices when conducting their
conversations, is it something to do with communal living?
