Native American Textbooks?

Help! I was hired at the last minute to teach a N.A. Indians class at a
community college. The books had already been ordered and neither is a
textbook. Several of my students who are having difficulty with English
have asked me to recommend some textbooks on Native Americans to
supplement my lectures. The only text I know of is _North American
Indians_ by Kehoe and I would not torture Community College students,
especially those not fluent in English, with it.

Can anyone recommend some basic introductory textbooks on Native Americans?
