I'm an archaeology student in brussels and I'm conducting some
research about african dolls in the great lakes region.
I'm searching any information about dolls, toys and playing in
africa. If you are interested by this subject, please reply or

Child playing is very interesting for anthropologists. It opens
many links with education, identity, child developpement,
maternity, conservation of cultural patterns etc. The material
toy is interessant too by it's relation with the adults
material culture.
