THE JOURNAL OF COMPUTER-MEDIATED COMMUNICATION (JCMC) is a joint project
between Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the University of Southern
California. The journal publishes original essays and research papers on
topics such as interpersonal and group processes in communication
networks, organizational and social policy issues occasioned by the new
medium, and issues of privacy. Professors Margaret McLaughlin of the
Annenberg School for Communication and Sheizaf Rafaeli of Hebrew
